2010 TECHART GTstreet R built for Andrew Bynum

In the event you aren't a major Los Angeles Lakers fan and don't know who Andrew Bynum is, let me fill you in. Andrew Bynum was the starting Center for the Lakers from 2005 through the 2012 season and a major car enthusiast. We were enlisted to help with the extensive build of his 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo equipped with a PDK transmission. The car was brought to us in stock form in plain white, but before it would leave our shop it would have undergo a complete transformation.

The parts arrived first and as soon as we unwrapped them we were blown away with the quality and attention to detail with this TECHART kit. The carbon fiber pieces were just glorious and nearly perfect in every way. Both the dry and gloss carbon pieces were of the highest quality and had flawless finishes. We were eager to start the build before these pieces arrived, but once they did our excitement was through the roof.

Once the car was in our hands, we went to work disassembling, cleaning and finally cutting the quarter panels to make room for the custom intake vents. Cutting the intake vents required fabrication and meticulous attention to detail in order to get the flawless, flush fitment with the TECHART Complete GTstreet R Aerodynamic kit.

With the intake vents cut and installed, we moved our focus to the front of the car to install the TECHART gloss carbon fiber front fenders as well as the TECHART hood. The fenders fit very well, with a little fabrication they fit flawlessly with the new hood.

We then verified fitment of the front and rear bumpers and began prepping the car for paint. The car would undergo a complete color change to a custom "Reventon Grey" rendition in a matte finish, a much more attention grabbing color compared to the factory plain white it arrived in.

For the TECHART carbon fiber front fenders, a unique "exposed" look was desired so we answered with a look that would compliment the custom "Reventon Grey." The result was phenomenal!

After we finished painting, reassembly and detailing; the car was sent off to have the performance upgrades and interior modifications installed. When all was said and done, the car looked absolutely amazing!!
